The Skunk is considered the best variety of marijuana created by humans, with many qualities that raised it to the Olympus of weed. It was created in California, but when it arrived in Amsterdam it laid the foundation for all modern Dutch breeding. Thousands of crosses were made with this genetics, towards its more sativa side and also towards the indica and, of course, it was necessary to make also the version of automatic flowering of the Skunk.
It is very complete in general, with great hybrid vigor as many automatic plants, but in this case it boosts the great push that Skunk normally has. It stands out because of its ease of cultivation, withstands certain levels of stress quite well, and adapts to different environments without problems.
Develops a very solid structure, with plenty of branching, minimum knot spacing and the typical hybrid leaf. It does not give problems of any kind either indoors or outdoors, although it is true that it performs better if we take into account some aspects. Do you want to know them?
As long as it does not lack land, water and light it will not give any problem. This plant eats a lot, especially when it has powerful lighting and good ventilation. In indoor cultivation it produces better with pot of more than 2,6 US gal (10 liters), if possible in fabric or airpot type. A photoperiod of 18 hours of light and 6 of darkness during its entire cycle suits it perfectly.
Outdoors it is necessary to plant them in a pot of greater capacity, especially in the spring-summer season. A pot of 5,3 or 6,6 US gal (20 or 25 litres) minimum will be needed to make good use of the intensity of the sun during those months.
Its cycle is in the average of the autoflowering ones in the market. Indoor requires 10 to 11 weeks, counting from seed to harvest. In outdoor cultivation it behaves more or less the same and can mature earlier or later depending on the climate and other environmental issues.
If you grow indoors with 600w. bulbs you can get a production of approximately 14,1 to 17,6 oz per 3x3ft (400 to 500 grams per square meter). Obviously, an expert grower can get a higher yield than a beginner, but even without growing experience you can get a good harvest.
In outdoor cultivation a single plant can give you up to 3,5 oz (100 grams), and the production of resin and essential oils will also be high.
The aroma and taste of this variety are very accomplished, as they faithfully reproduce the nuances of the classic Skunk. Indoor it is recommended to use powerful carbon filters or ozonators to try to control the intense aroma of this small skunk.
From the first puff to the last, it maintains a fruity touch with very pronounced citrus notes, which blend perfectly. It is a taste that everyone likes, although it is true that it can be more tiring than others, as is the case with commercial music.
A typical total hybrid effect, like the photodependent version, that is remarkable both at brain and body level. Although it is a very balanced power, at first you notice more the sativa part, but little by little the effect becomes more relaxing, without symptoms of heaviness.
